Amy Schuessler was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. She is a graduate of Columbus College of Art & Design with a B.A. in Photography and an Art History Minor. She received her MFA at Image/Text MFA at Ithaca College in New York and is currently a Ph.D. student at The Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts, Portland, Maine https://www.idsva.edu/. Her work focuses on the intersection of writing and photography and she is currently working on several photo book projects.
